EPW - Ulysse Nardin, Locle & Genève, 42mm width x 53mm to top of bow, 18K gold barrel-shaped original Ulysse Nardin case with elegant black and white enameling to bezel, rear perimeter and bow, metal dial with applied gold numerals, SW-SS, lever escapement with capped escape wheel, 18J, wheel satin nickel finish, s#96527. Comes as pictured with a 12.5 inch 14K gold chain and with a 14K green gold penknife. Gross weight of assembled watch 29.1 dwt (45.4); gross weight of 14K gold chain 2.0 dwt (3.1 g); gross weight of penknife 10.0 dwt (15.6 g). A very attractive piece with an unusual and eye-catching case.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Ticking somewhat sluggishly, overhaul recommended, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, some mild haze spotting in areas; dial excellent in visible portion, some toning of hour numerals, some perimeter scrape under bezel; excellent hands; case shows hardly any wear, no dents or dings, enameling substantially intact though with some small losses to lower side of bezel; rigid bow with excellent detail, crown shows hardly any wear; good glass crystal with some glue excess at its seat. Chain shows little wear. Penknife shows light wear, scattered dings.
